Don’t Press the Red Button Final

Today in animation I finished up my one week solo animation project. I decided to use a text to speech software to give the robots voices, mainly because beeps cannot get that expressive. I liked how my animations turned out, especially the final animation. I wish I could of spent more time working on the background environment. Overall I liked how it turned out and if I had more time I would have done more with the background.

Loop Final

Today in animation class we finished the one week partner project. We first had to finish rendering and then composite the animations. We did not have enough time to add sound effects, so we were only able to add music. I like how some of the animations turned out, though I wish I could have worked on a few of them a bit longer. Another thing I liked was how well the explosion turned out, surprisingly it took the least amount of time to render out of all the scenes

New Project

Today in animation we started work on a new partner project. The prompt we were give was loopdy loops, so we decided to do an animation with some planes flying around. I am going to work on the mountains, fx, and animation and Marcus will work on the rest.

Barrel

Today in animation class I worked on texturing a barrel. I had first mapped out the UVs, then I moved onto creating the base texture for the barrel. After that I then started working on value maps for the barrel to make it appear better.

My Own Face Rig

Today in animation I worked on creating and animating my own face rig. I used a face I had created in the past as the basis for the rig I was creating. I was there was some issues with trying to get the weights set a first but once I started animating it, the weighting became a bit easier. I animated the character to say “imagine if I had a real weapon” which is a line from a video game I play.
